    The title in itself is sufficient to guess about it. This is the initiative taken by SOTY foundation and USAUnivQuest. Let I will tell something more about this in detail with some pictures and write up.

1. Global SOTY Foundation is organizing the Student of the Year Awards
2. USA UnivQuest is the Process Facilitator
3. MasterStroke is the name of the Process only
4. This is NOT at all an exam centric event.
5. This competition is a 3-step process.
6. The three steps are:

1. Students Register for SOTY Awards
2. Students Complete Online Profile on the Universal Student Application (online)
3. Personal Interview to verify the facts and assertions made in the Online Application (for those who are shortlisted for Interviews)

7. Students will be asked to furnish the following on the Application Portal (starting from 19^th Jan)

1. Their biographical details.
2. Their scholastic achievements including scores and/or ranks in individual subjects taught at school from class VIII onwards. This may be Regional Exams like National Exams like NTSE or exams for admission in US universities like PSAT, SAT, SAT Subject, SSAT & Advanced Placements.
3. Their extra-curricular and co-curricular activities & achievements. Scanned copies of supporting documents have to be uploaded on the Application Portal.
4. Their Letters of Recommendation from School teachers (minimum 2).
5. They will also have to answer a few long and short essay questions that will provide us with an insight on what motivates them for success. The topics for the essays shall be available online on 19th January, 2017.
6. Additionally, they may appear in Potential Discovery Tests on 5^th Feb, 2017 to boost their profile. However, appearing in the PDT / College Curriculum Assessment Test and completing the Aptitude Discovery Test IS NOT A NECESSARY CONDITION for participating in the Student Of The Year Awards.
